Steinberg Hall-Dietrich Hall Construction Continues

Construction continues on the $18.5 million addition to the west entrance of Wharton's Steinberg Hall-Dietrich Hall. Addressing current demand for faculty offices and conference space as well as updating classroom technology, the project aims to meet the needs for expanded and upgraded facilities in the business school.

These classrooms opened for use in January 2013. When complete, there will be also 32 new offices for Wharton faculty. The west entrance will be transformed into a new plaza with seating areas, green space, and a green roof. Lobby space at the west entrance will also be renovated, and the installation of new mechanical and chilled beam systems will aim to help the project meet LEED Silver certification standards.

The project is expected to be completed in Summer 2013.
