On River Fields Drive, south of the Hollenback Annex, Penn Athletes will find a significant renovation to these six acres of athletic facilities. A new AstroTurf field is in place for women’s field hockey, now known as Ellen Vagelos Field. The soccer field has been moved slightly and completely renovated. The field’s Bermuda grass has been maintained, while elevated stands and a picnic area are new additions. A 180-degree rotating scoreboard has been added, which can serve both playing fields.
