Penn Monolith / 34th & Walnut Streets

This 20' high, 3 sided, black steel monolith, designed by Ivan Chermayeff (Chermayeff & Geismar) was installed in 1979 on the southwest corner of 34th & Walnut Streets, as a University Gateway marker to Blanche Levy Park and the core campus.
