Built to house the Wharton School's graduate education program, the building represents an important stage of the Philadelphia School in expressing the structural frame while simplifying the external volume.

Dinan Hall, underwent an exterior and lobby restoration as part of an overall renovation that reshaped the building in 2025. Part of the $3.7M exterior project was the renaming of the building as Dinan Hall, after a gift from James Dinan, Wharton class of 1981.
