The Krishna P. Singh Center for Nanotechnology broke ground on February 17th, 2011. The new center, a cross-disciplinary effort of SEAS and SAS, will facilitate the collaboration and exchange of knowledge that characterizes nanotechnology research. The building will include microscopy labs, a 10,000 sq. ft. clean room, a top floor forum for events and symposia and a new landscaped courtyard along Walnut Street. The Krishna P. Singh Center For Nanotechnology project is seeking LEED Silver certification.
