Civic Center Boulevard
Traffic on Civic Center Boulevard is generally constricted and occasionally disrupted between University Avenue and Convention Avenue, due to the construction of the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, the Roberts Proton Therapy Center, the School of Medicine's New Research Building and the Children's Hospital South Campus Research Complex, as well as related infrastructure development. Civic Center Boulevard is open and the Philadelphia Center for Health Care Sciences remains accessible, however; the road surface is very rough and traffic patterns may be revised at various times.
Note: On occasion, there is severe traffic congestion with delays, focused around the intersection of University Avenue and Civic Center Boulevard. It is advisable to check current road conditions at: KYW1060 Traffic Report or on your car radio at 1060 am.
