Travel Advisory - South Street Signal Interconnect Project

Street intersections will be sequentially restricted and under partial reconstruction for installation of new traffic signal control equipment. The intent is to improve the flow of traffic on the East - West arterial streets, following the (impending) closure of the South Street Bridge and the subsequent diversion of that traffic.

Phase 2: Excavation for tie lines along 34th Street, between Walnut & Spruce Streets is expected; however, a start date has not yet been announced.

Phase 1: Started October 8th, 2007... completed, March, 2008.
