The state-of-the-art Wharton Academic Research Building (WARB) will be substantially complete in December 2020. This new 80,450 GSF building links to the south side of Steinberg Hall-Dietrich Hall, and features four floors of academic and research space, including flat floor classrooms, group study rooms, a first floor atrium, where students can gather around a living green wall or cluster in seating groups, and the Wharton Undergraduate Division Suite, a place of connectivity for students, that converts to accommodate social gatherings.

Located at 37^th and Spruce streets, on the ground level, a new enclosed loading dock and electrical substation has replaced the existing surface loading dock and the existing substation, and Woodland Walk has been restored from 36th to 37th Streets.
