The renovation of the David Rittenhouse Laboratory (DRL) and construction of a new Physical Sciences Building will provide facilities to support the integration of research and teaching across disciplines in the physical sciences, forming an integrated academic environment.

The project includes the Physical Sciences Building (PSB), a $520M, 325,000 sq. ft. academic complex, as well as a large-scale renovation and modernization of the existing north wing of DRL. Together, the new construction and renovation will feature modern classrooms, hands-on teaching laboratories, state-of-the-art research spaces, and high-quality offices and collaboration areas designed to support interdisciplinary research and teaching.
